Giorgia's Story
So far in my journey as a photographer I have been working mainly with models.
Giorgia approached me not long ago asking to help bring awareness to the public and young ladies especially via photography and publications about the illness (endometriosis) that she suffers. This is how she describes her story in short.
"We are used to live in a world where everything has a price. We don't do anything for free and work and success are our main goals in life. I have been one of those people, fully immersed into my job, sacrificing my precious family time, my hobbies, my own body. Then something happened, my body abandoned me. I have been invested by a chronic illness, turning my world upside down. At the beginning I was angry, trying to fight it and pushing myself so hard for trying to keep doing all I could to don't let my condition interfere with my life. And then something else happened, I started to embrace my disease. I decided to feed my body and my soul of all those little things I had been ignoring because I wanted to be a successful woman in career. I started to spend more time with my daughter, organising romantic dinners with my husband, doing exercises, looking after my body and eventually realising I am young and beautiful and all I should do is enjoying my time doing what makes me happy and smiling, instead of stressed and tired. I put myself into modeling and this fun photoshoot represents my new body, my new soul...happy and more successful than ever."
